Our Dogs
Rip is our foundation sire and was a true All Age dog with tremendous nose, range and stamina and a twelve o’clock tail. He has produced numerous champions and winners in Field Trials, Shows, Agility, Obedience, and Shoot to Retrieve as well as ABC Futurity placing offspring. He passed his good looks, exceptional nose, intense points and twelve o’clock tail to his offspring. He qualified for the All Age National Championship on several occasions. You will find Rip in all of our pedigrees and he has passed on his legacy to his son’s and grandsons. Rip was 12 when he passed and is buried under the Dogwood tree on our farm.
We were immensely blessed to have such a great dog as Rip and we thank the Lord every day for the blessings he continues to bring into our lives through our dogs and the lasting relationships with our customers.

Since we didn't set out to be breeders, we were faced with a decision when people wanted to start breeding to Rip. We took a year to think and pray and talk about whether we wanted to start breeding Brittanys or go a different direction. We decided that if we were going to become breeders, we were going to do it the right way from the beginning.

As we set out on this journey, we did our research on bloodlines and pedigrees, coefficients of inbreeding, different approaches to breeding and training and best practices for kennel housing and care of the dogs and puppies. I like to think we got a PHd in all things related to breeding and raising the best Brittanys available.

We are members of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the American Brittany Club (ABC) and as breeders we subscribe to and abide by their breeder guidelines.

The purpose of field trials (athleticism and birdiness) and bench shows (confirmation) is to determine the best individuals for breeding. That is why we compete in those venues with our own dogs and insist that only individuals from winning bloodlines are used in our breeding program. Our dogs pedigrees feature Dual Champions, National Champions, Field Champions and Bench Champions. This is the best way to insure that your pup will meet your expectations, whether it be hunting, hunt tests, field trialing, showing, agility or shoot to retrieve and at the same time be a great family companion!
